Varsity Baseball and Football Field Rehabilitation Project Description: Athletic Fields
Enviroscapes rehabilitated the existing Varsity Football Field and Varsity Baseball Field prior to the varsity season. Initially, Enviroscapes re-graded the baseball infield area. This consisted of adding additional clay infield material and adjusting the pitchers mound and infield areas to meet NCAA dimensions and specifications. The outfield areas were reseeded and low areas were filled in with topsoil. For the Varsity Football Field, Enviroscapes aerated and thatched the field. Then the field was reseeded, fertilized and limed, with low areas filled in with topsoil. Lastly, Enviroscapes constructed a new practice facility for the New Jersey City University. Construction activities consisted of a site survey for horizontal/vertical layout. We then installed under-drain piping, rough and final graded the field placing 1,200 cubic yards of topsoil to establish final grade. Subsequently the field was seeded, fertilized, and mulched.
Renovation of Little League Fields Nos. 3, 4, and 5 Project Description: Athletic Fields
Under contract with the Township of Piscataway, Enviroscapes re-constructed three (3) little league baseball fields. Re-construction efforts consisted of the placement of over 600 tons of infield clay mix; reconstruction of three (3) regulation pitcher's mounds; installation of six (6) Jox Box batter's box pads; installation of three (3) sets of pitcher's rubbers/home plates; installation of six (6) 15-ft. player's benches; installation of six (6) sets of bleachers; installation of six (6) foul poles; installation of one (1) 40-ft. flag pole; installation of three (3) backstops and over 1,000 linear feet of chain link fence; installation of 8,000 square feet of sod, and over-seeding over 100,000 square feet of established turf; and miscellaneous site grading activities to promote drainage
Renovation of Little League Fields Nos. 1 and 2 Project Description: Athletic Fields
Enviroscapes renovated two (2) existing baseball fields at the East Brunswick Baseball Managers Complex on Dunham Corner Road in East Brunswick, NJ. Initially, Enviroscapes assisted the EBBMA in acquiring and installing new lighting for the two fields. Enviroscapes then re-positioned Fields 1 and 2 away from a Columbia Gas Transmission line that is located adjacent to the fields. This was performed in conjunction with the new lighting for the fields. Enviroscapes removed the existing fencing and asphalt to allow for the renovation. Enviroscapes then installed over 800 linear feet of French drain for both fields that were tied into an existing storm water catch basin and piping at the site. Enviroscapes regraded the infields and removed the existing sand infield mixture and replaced it with new infield clay mixture, added warning track in both outfields, installed four (4) canopies over existing bleachers and dugouts, added new wood 12' by 6" pressure treated wood boards and fabric wind screens for the two backstops, added erosion control matting and reseeded the fields, team warm-up and common areas of the site. Throughout the project, Enviroscapes assisted the EBBMA, a private non-profit organization, in selecting subcontractors for the installation of the electrical lights and scoreboards, a landscape architect to design the fields, and subcontractors for the fencing, concrete pads for the bleacher and the dugout areas. Throughout the entire process Enviroscapes coordinated with the Township of East Brunswick Parks and Recreation Division to ensure the renovations was incompliance with the Township various codes and regulations.
Soccer Fields Restoration Project Description: Athletic Fields
Under contract with the Township of Piscataway, Enviroscapes repaired erosion areas and ruts, and over-seeded four (4) soccer fields, which are part of the Township's recreational areas. Enviroscapes Harley raked severely damaged areas, and imported topsoil to re-establish grade. Next, the fields were aerated and over-seeded with an athletic field seed mixture. Finally, the areas were limed, fertilized and mulched to prepare them for the spring soccer season.
Little League Baseball Field Restoration Project Description: Athletic Fields
Enviroscapes restored three (30 out-of-service Little League baseball fields in Brooklyn, New York. Restoration activities consisted of: cleaning up debris and miscellaneous materials, cutting the existing vegetation, and the Harley raking and re-grading each field. After each field was cleared, Enviroscapes re-established the infield playing perimeter which included replacing the pitchers mound, home plate and infield areas. Infield clay mix was placed throughout the entire infield. The outfield and adjacent areas were re-seeded, fertilized, and mulched. Finally, Enviroscapes replaced the bases, home plates, and pitcher's rubbers and mounds; and installed the player's benches, foul poles, scoreboards; flagpoles; and repaired the existing fence.
Rehabilitation of Various Ball Fields Project Description: Athletic Fields
Under contract with the Township of Piscataway, Enviroscapes conducted a major rehabilitation of eighteen (18) baseball fields including Babe Ruth Baseball fields, Little League Baseball fields, and Adult Softball fields. Rehabilitation efforts consist of the placement of over 1,100 tons of infield clay mix; reconstruction of three (3) regulation pitcher's mounds; installation of thirty (30) Jox Box batters box pads; installation of sixteen (16) sets of pitcher's rubbers/home plates; installation of twenty-six (26) 15-ft. player's benches; installation of twenty-eight (28) sets of bleachers; installation of thirty-four (34) foul poles; installation of one (1) 40-ft. flag pole; installation of sixteen (16) backstops and over 8,000 linear feet of chain link fence; over-seeding 250,000 square feet of established turf; and miscellaneous drainage improvements
DiMario Park Renovation, Kenilworth NJ Project Description: Athletic Fields

Under contract to the Borough of Kenilworth, Enviroscapes renovated the existing baseball field at DiMario Park in the Borough of Kenilworth, New Jersey. The renovations consisted of installation of a French drain and surface grading in the park's gazebo area to eliminate ponded water conditions, and renovation of the existing baseball field. As part of our scope, Enviroscapes lifted the infield and outfield by 2" and re-graded the site according to the plans and specifications. Enviroscapes added over 200 tons of infield clay mixture and 200 tons of topsoil to the field areas. Next, each field was drill seeded, limed, fertilized and mulched. In addition, Enviroscapes constructed an earthen berm in the southeast corner of the park to divert storm water runoff away from the backyards of several residences adjacent to the park. Enviroscapes then installed 232 linear feet of 2" PVC conduit in the outfield and through the parks asphalt parking area and tied the conduit to an existing recreational building at the park, as part of the Borough's future plans for an electronic scoreboard at the site. Electrical work would be performed by others.
