Enviroscapes has installed erosion control measures at nearly every work site (well over 1,500 sites). We have installed silt fence, super silt fence, weed control fabric, coconut matting, geotextile fabrics, erosion control blankets, coir logs, wattles, seed mixtures, plants, mulch and tackifiers for revegetation projects.
Enviroscapes reviews Soil and Sediment Erosion Control Plans (SSECP) prior to mobilization and coordinates with engineers and local soil conservation districts to ensure good communication amongst all interested parties. We have examined construction schedules to determine the appropriate time to initiate and complete a construction project and have attended meetings to discuss scheduling issues and erosion control measures (for instance, discussing what measures will be taken in extremely hot temperature to control wind borne dust and what extra precautions will be taken to protect a project site during a high probability of heavy rains and wet weather to avoid ruts and runoff issues).
Enviroscapes’ engineers and construction personnel understand the necessity to minimize disturbance on a project site and to keep the footprint tight during construction activities. This may be necessary to avoid disturbing native vegetation to protect streams, lakes and ponds.
We have installed core stone, riprap, wattles erosion control fabric in channel and heavily eroded areas to control and direct surface water runoff and minimize sediment loss. Enviroscapes has performed hydroseeding and mulching to adequately stabilize areas. On steep and critical slopes, we have utilized erosion control seed mixtures or erosion control blankets. Enviroscapes has constructed stone haul roads, seeded stockpile areas and borrow areas.
Our select project descriptions presented herein provide a more expansive view of our project experience in utilizing erosion control plans, concepts and products.
